About Greenhouse Island

Greenhouse Island is the midweek children's program at Shepherd of the Valley Bible Church!

The Island is where children will learn how to navigate The Bible.

The curriculum is divided into two age-appropriate levels. Our first group the Parrots are 4 years through 1st grade and the Toucans are our 2nd - 5th graders.

The Flamingos are our nursery-age kids, ages 0-3.

The current Island Curriculum is divided into two segments, The Old Testament and the New Testament.

This fall the Parrots and Toucans will be digging into the New Testament. They will learn their New Testament Books of the Bible, memorize 20 memory verses, compete in games, complete a New Testament "My Bible Book", and earn many certificates of Completion, as well as additional prizes from "The Coconut Shack" (The Island Store).

The Island Pledge below highlights the heart and purpose of The Greenhouse Island.

We want all children to have the opportunity to deepen their love and devotion to Jesus and to His Word. Both are a vital part of the daily life of a follower of our Lord.
