Welcome to Hood River, Oregon. A small town with a population of about 7,500 nestled in the Cascade mountain range in the Pacific Northwest. We live on the border of Washington State and Oregon on the Columbia River 1 hour east of Portland on I-84. Hood River is known for its year-round sports from the best windsurfing in the country to awesome snow sports on Mt. Hood which has snow all year long. Apple, pear, cherry, and peach orchards blanket the surrounding hills and produce some of the best fruit you've ever tasted. We have warm summers, wet springs, beautiful autumns, and cozy winters. All of these things plus the low humidity and clean air makes this an ideal place to visit and live. We would love to meet you and show you around Hood River!
